Melbourne Marathon was kind to us again. What a great event to close out the winter running season.

After perfect conditions the last seven years, we were met with 50km/h winds, trees collapsing and birds falling out of the sky. There is nothing more pure and satisfying than ignoring the watch and going head to head with your opponents—and mother nature.

We couldn’t be more impressed with the attitude the crew displayed on race day. As well as the bloody-minded determination from all of our runners, we had runners manage to scalp opponents they never dreamt of beating, and we came away with a heap of pbs, great debuts, three age category wins, 3rd place female and an Australian marathon champion.

We could write a report about every runner, as they all raced hard and smart—bloody brilliant!
